After a busy weekend and before a hectic week, Sunday dinner may seem like an impossible mountain to climb. In addition to the washing and shopping, cooking and cleaning, preparing Sunday dinner can tip the stress level over the top.

There’s good news for busy, health- and budget-conscious families—Tryst Café has helped reduce the stress on parents and their wallets by providing free Sunday dinner for children who are 10 and under. While parents can choose from the organic, antibiotic- and hormone-free dinner menu, kids have their own healthy menu choices and parents won’t have to pay a dime. Plus, most dishes can be made gluten-free.

”We support families who want to eat better—and who want a special treat the night before the start of the work week,” says Lisa Khaninsho, owner of Tryst Café. “This is the fifth year that we’ve offered free kids’ Sunday dinner because we want kids to associate healthy food with delicious food.”

The free children’s menu includes:

  • Baked chicken tenders (gluten-free)
  • Grilled chicken breast
  • Antibiotic and hormone-free beef burger
  • Grilled cheese sandwich
  • Penne pasta
  • Drink choices are apple juice, milk or fountain drink

Kids 10 and under eat free with the purchase of at least one regularly priced entrée from the regular menu or special global entrée. This offer is good from 4 p.m. to close on Sunday nights.
